School’s out for Summer!
Finished exams yesterday, sitting in the hall at the outpatient’s clinic waiting to have day surgery and pondering what my training is going to look like after I have my Dupuytrens contractures removed from my right hand. I know the track will be involved, the spin bike, Tabata protocols and lots of bodyweight work. I wonder if I can figure out a way to use my TRX without gripping? My fridge is almost empty too which means it’s time to transition grocery lists towards vegan and start working in the garden. Organic heirloom tomatoes, leafy greens and squash! *drool!*
Gotta get on the sprouting grains train too and find a number of quality vegan protein supplements produced by and from local sources.
Goals: * Sleep consistently 7.5 hrs a night and wake before 7 weekdays. * Read 1.5 books a week. * Write an article every week (one training, one philosophical) * +90lb deadlift 1rm by august end or prior. * 1:10 / 4x400m repeats 1:1 for time. * Bodywt deep squat cleanly for reps. * 3x10 reps KB snatch RKC quality. * 1.5x bodywt chins for reps. * Grouse Grind < 38:30.0. * Finish all math levels to advanced algebra on the Khan Academy. * Eat vegan for 5 consecutive days. * Restructure diet to gradually exclude the banes of my existence; sugar and fried foods. * Manage my Energy and Time better. * Book my HKC. * Save enough for my next two semester’s tuition. * Pay down student loan by $3000. * Train 5 of my friends to reach 1 significant goal each by August end. *
This should result in a net bodyweight around 155lbs @ ~12% bf. Better mental, physical and emotional health and the healthiest and strongest (mechanically) I’ve been since before I started triathlon training.
I’ll have ‘by whens and how tos’ on post-its scattered around my room by Sunday.
What are your goals for the next four months?
